The location of this collector experiences temperatures of 40°C in Summer and -35°C in Winter. With these extremes, compressed air could not be used for cleaning as condensation would freeze in the line and cause ruptures. DCS designed a reverse flow shaker collector to allow one cell of each unit to be offline for cleaning while the remaining cells handle the air quantity. This type of collector would only be used where there are compelling reasons such as climatic extremes, as they are not as efficient as our normal systems
