Downdraft Sanding Bench

The sanding table is designed to reduce dust by creating a downdraft around the item being sanded.

Dust is drawn down to exhaust points under the table which connect into a dust collection system or can be fitted with a stand alone filter is preferred.

The standard size is nominally 1.2m by 2.4m and 0.96m high, and requires an air flow of 2,300 m3/hr. If only small parts are being handled, it is an advantage to restrict part of the top which is not in use, as this will increase the air flow and dust removal around the item.

The top of the table is fitted with nylon rubbing strips to prevent damage to the item being handled.
