Industrial Vacuum Units

DCS manufacture a wide range of industrial vacuum units to suit industrial applications such as mining, foundries, quarries, cement works, breweries, and many other applications.

Vacuum units can be supplied as diesel or electric, mobile or fixed installations, with or without the large volume interceptor, or in many other combinations. They are built for heavy industrial use and ideal for quick reclaiming of industrial spills from conveyors, blocked hoppers and bins as well as general cleaning.

Vacuum Filters

The filter assembly consists of two stages. The primary stage has spun bonded pleated filter elements which have a large filter area for a relatively small space. The receiver has centrifugal separation which traps most of the product with the exception of very fine dust particles. These particles are captured by the first stage filter which has a very low filtration velocity to give long service life to the filters. The second stage of filtration has a cartridge filter, and is used mainly to protect the blower if there is a problem with the primary filters after a long time in service. A pressure gauge is fitted to monitor the resistance of the secondary filter so that it is easy to tell if there is a problem.
